How Crest Whitening Strips Work

The Crest Whitening Strip is a very good product. It's basically a scotch tape, and what you do is you put that on the area where you need to whiten your teeth. You don't need to cover the whole teeth and dig it into the gum, what you need to do is basically, if this is the exposed area of the tooth structure, you need to take the whitening strip or the tape to cover that portion, as much of it as possible. Not all of it, just as much of it as possible because what we do know is that when it's bond to that surface, the chemical kind of spreads and then will whiten those areas that comes into contact and close to the contact area. So it's a very simple idea and it's very easy to use. But remember before you put the whitening strip or even the custom tray in your mouth, you need to brush your teeth, make sure everything is clean, and then after the usage, you need to brush your teeth again to make sure everything is clean. And during the usage of the whitening product, you shouldn't have consumption of anything that has heavy stain, i.e. red wine. And thereafter, you should wait at least about two weeks or so before you go back to, I guess, normal consumption of food. Mainly because about two weeks, the enamel pores should all kind of close up, and that smear layer will redevelop and your teeth will get back to normal again.
