So, this is our first fly we're going to tie. It's a black woolly bugger. Woolly bugger, I guess would be the correct pronunciation. It's probably one of the most all around flies out there, catches just about any fish that swims, bass, trout, salt water fish, you name it. And you can tie it in a bunch of different colors, different sizes and it covers a lot of the basic fly tying techniques. We're going to start of by tying the tail on, black marabou tail. Then it has a chanelle body, which will be palmered on, then the final touch is it has a palmered hackle, with this black kind of spiky stuff here and then we'll just do a nice little thread head with a whip finish and thread cement, so it kind of covers all the basic techniques you need to know for fly tying and it's a great all around fly.
