Supplies for Sewing Applique
Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and we are making our applique projects. Now this last project that I'm going to show you is actually a applique using your sewing machine. It requires very basic skills, but it's kind of fun to do some sewing projects. So you really are just going to need a little piece of fabric for whatever your applique is. We're going to put a heart onto this little bag and it's going to be a little collection bag for Valentines for my friend's little one. So you need an item to sew onto, a piece of fabric to create an applique and your sewing machine with some top thread and your bobbin thread and remember to coordinate it however it is you'd like it to look. So, you're also going to need some scissors. This requires very basic sewing skills. It's a great little project if you just sort of want to test the sewing waters and play around a little bit, get creative. So, get your supplies together and in the next clip I'm going to show you how to sew this right onto the bag.
