Fusing an Applique Heart
Hi I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and we are making our little Aheart appliqui shirt. So we've gone ahead and we've cut out the appliqui and now we're going to go ahead and the back off now, the paper, so go ahead and peel it off slowly like that. We're going to throw that away and now this has, I don't know if you can see but there is a kind of a sheen to it and that's the transfer web. So then we're going to take our shirt and determine where we want it on the shirt. Okay so I think that looks like a really good spot for it. I'm going to go ahead and get my iron and now you're just going to iron it. Go all the way around, first just press it down for a few seconds and then make sure that you glide around and that you get every corner. And again this is a permanent bond you can go ahead and wash this many, many times and it's not going to come off. And I think that that's, I think that's good. There you go. There is a very cute little appliqui shirt you can go ahead and embellish it with rhinestones or ribbon or anything that you want but I think this one actually looks very nice. Just simple with a little simple heart like that. It's a fun project it's a great way to make very personalized gifts for babies, kids, or even adults.
