Applying Applique Banner Trim
Hi I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and we are just finishing up our banner here. We have our little trim that we made out of a little piece of flannel and some wonder under and we're going to go ahead and just line it up along the edge there of the banner and then iron it on. And you're going to want to just, just like you did before just press it down and kind of glide it around gently for about ten seconds. This is actually felt so I'm going to, I'm going to hold it down a little bit longer and give it a good, a good iron. Also be sure that if you have any transfer web that hangs over the side of whatever it is that you're fusing that you make sure that you protect the surface underneath either with wax paper or with the back of the paper that comes with the wonder under because it will stick to anything that you iron it onto and it's just going to get whatever surface that is underneath sticky. Okay so I think that that's good. Okay so then we're just going to go ahead and clean up our little edges, any little threads that are there just go ahead and snip them off. And there you go a very cute and fabulous little banner. You can use these for any kind of occasion you can do it for sports teams, for kids, you can put your child's name on there if they ever have a great accomplishment you can put little banners up on their bedroom walls. This is really a fun project and it's very easy to make.
