Applying Applique Letters to a Banner
Hi I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and we are working on our Expert Village banner. And as you can see here we are just using these little felt back sticky back letters and they're just very simple you just peel and stick. I went ahead and started the ex the e and the x. I'm going to flip this back toward me so that I can see what I am doing a little bit better. And these are very inexpensive, these letters, you can buy them at any craft store and they're not always with the, with all the rest of the appliqui stuff so be sure that you ask around if you don't see them but they should be readily available. And then make sure that when you are cutting your banner that you lay it out first so that you are sure that you're going to have enough room for all of the letters that you need. Otherwise you might cut your felt and then realize that you haven't left enough room. So I just want to be that I'm getting these nice and straight. They do peel off fairly easy if you need them to. Put them down. Okay I'm going to go ahead and keep sticking these on and then when we come back in the next clip I'm going to show you how to apply a trim here that we are going to create ourselves with some fabric.
