Painting Spiderman on a Hand

Okay so we're making a spider man mask on a web for children that would not want something on their face. We've got our blue web and our red spider man, we've got to add our white eyes now. Starts in the top half of your oval here and you're going to take a white line up at an angle on each side, curve your line down and come back at an angle. You've got that nice angled spider man eye look and then fill it in. Since your putting white on top of red, it's getting a little bit of pink there. That's okay all you have to do is get a little bit whiter on your brush, and go over it a second time. You can even go back when it dries and put another coat on it if it still looks too pink, but I think it looks okay right now. Two coats was enough. Then we'll add our black web. Start at where the eyes meet and make a line up and another line down. At that meeting point will come up at an angle at the top on both sides and then down at an angle on both sides, then maybe one more line extending out from the eye area. Then we'll add our arches in for the webbing, and just like on the full face spider man, I like to outline his eyes, just make them really stand out. Another thing that I really like to do, for cheek art and hand art, is outline my whole design in black with a thin detail brush. See how that just kind of makes the mask stands out on the web a bit more. Just takes a second, if you don't have time if you're at a very busy event, you don't have to but it's a nice step to take if you do have time. Finally, if you have some nice detail glitter, or some loose glitter add a little bit of red. The kids and the parents who are paying for the face painting really appreciate small details like that. There you have it, there's a spider man mask on a web for a child's arm or hand who doesn't like it their face painted.
