Painting a Spider Web on Cheeks

Now when you're face painting at a party or event, not all children are going to be wanting to have something that covers their entire face. So it's important that your repertoire of designs includes what we call, simple cheek art. I left our spider man?s face blank on this side so I can show you how to do a boy design of a boy who might like spider man. That would be a spider on a web. I like to use one of my thinner brushes for the spider web and I'm going to do a white web today. To make a web what I like to do is make like a diamond with curved lines. You'll go one, two, three and four. Then from each point of the diamond, I'm going to extend the line across the face. Little more paint on my brush here. Then from the middle of each one of those two lines we're going to extend and make one more line in between. There we have the beginning of the web. Now what we want to do is add the webbing in between each of our extended lines. Again it's just curved lines connecting each one to the next section of the web. You can make your web as intricate or as simple as you want. You need to stop please! I like two or three lines on each section of the web. Then while the paint is still moist, if you have some iridescent glitter to put on at this point, that's a good time to do it before you add the spider. That is the basic web for cheek art.
