What Part of the Tooth is Whitened?

We're here to talk about tooth whitening. Tooth whitening previously was coined as bleaching. What we do in tooth whitening, one of the main things is we want to be allowed to have the enamel of our teeth to be lightened. The enamel is consist of the outer structure of the tooth. And on the inner part of the tooth is the top portion is called the dentin and the bottom portion, the root is called a samenton but really they are pretty much the same structure. The difference is that the inner part of two structures are very porous, so solution, air, any type of molecule can pass through back and forth. But the enamel itself, it?s the hardest structure on this planet and at the same time it's basically, there is no communication between the outside and the inside. Simply nothing can pass through from the outside to the inside.
