Leg Position for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Triangle Chokes

Hi, I'm Karun, speaking on behalf of expertvillage.com. And today we are going to be showing some advanced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques, working the triangle choke and some continuations from the triangle choke. He's going to place his left foot inside the hip pushing with his leg, this is going to help to get him to the side and help him to move his hips to get this position. Now the triangle choke, it works because this leg is on the side of the neck and the shoulder is on the other side. So, basically, we're choking him with our leg and his shoulder. It is important when we're doing the triangle choke, that this foot be underneath the kneecap, that the toes are pointed up, and that the calves are flexed. That decreases the amount of space inside his legs and will increase the amount of pressure on the choke.
