Fishing Tools for Fly Tying

So, we're going to tie a rabbit strip leech. Pretty simple fly. The only materials really are black thread, you want to use a pretty strong black thread, pretty heavy thread, because you'll have to put quite a bit of tension on this rabbit strip when we tie it to the hook. It's pretty burly material. Then a hook, it's a streamer hook, once again, fairly long bodied hook, you can use a heavy wire hook, because this is a sinking fly. And then scissors, you want some pretty strong scissors because we're going to be cutting this rabbit's hide and it's pretty tough stuff to cut. And then, we'll have our head cement again, just to finish off the head of the fly. You could also, if you wanted to, you could weight the body with lead underneath. That's another option. You could tie it in different colors, black, white, brown, purple, and you can also put weed yarn on before you tied the rabbit strip on if you wanted to make sure there was a little more weedless fly. You can also put lead eyes on it; you know the dumb bell eyes. So, a lot of different options, but this is just the basic rabbit strip leech that we're going to tie here.
