Hi, I'm Austin McBride with Expert Village. Today I'm showing you how to choose some good break dancing music you can dance to. Break dancing music was first invented back in the 70's when they were listening to funk and some really hip hop and they would get to the break down session. It was when those break down sessions happened the DJ would reverse and play the verse over, over and over and that's where the term breaking came from. It's the break down. So, those types of music are typically found at a 112 to 130 beats per minute. You can those in your local hip hop shop under breaking or break beats. They're designed and 45 minutes long you just dance fluently to for as long as you possibly can. It will probably include elements of funk, jazz and hip hop and it's definitely danceable it's the kind of music that will definitely get you and your friends feet moving. And that is kind of music you want to listen to when you are break dancing.
