What to Wear Break Dancing

Hi I'm Austin McBride and you are with Expert Village and today I am going to show you what to wear when break dancing. So, when you are break dancing certainly it is not just fashion, it is fashion and function. A lot of what you wear is going to determine how you perform. What I am wearing today is a basic tee shirt, some loose fitting pants and some athletic trainers. Puma or Nike, they all make excellent athletic shoes. A lot of times if you are starting out it is best to wear pads on your elbows, on your knees and certainly if you are going to be doing anything on your head, head spins or anything of that nature, it is best to be wearing a helmet and once you graduate from a helmet you will be wearing a beanie at that point, which is essential to doing a trick like that. At any rate, it is best to be wearing loose fitting, comfortable, athletic clothing that allows you to be free and fluid in your movements and usually try to be somewhat fashionable. And that is how you dress when you are break dancing.
