As we saw, The Blood Knot is a little bit difficult to tie. Uh, there's another knot you can do that is just as strong as a Blood Knot and will serve the same purpose. The only disadvantage to this one is that uh, you don't get the nice straight connection. So if you're using two heavier materials or one heavier material and one lighter material, you'll want to use a Blood Knot, but for everything else, similar sized material and thinner material you can use The Surgeon's Knot. It's basically just overlap your materials. Put an Overhand Knot in the materials. Leader, backing, whatever you got. You know, The Old Granny Knot. And then just go back through that one more time. That's your Surgeon's Knot. Pretty easy. And it's a little bulkier than the uh, Blood Knot. But uh, just as strong. And a lot easier to tie. So an alternative to the uh, to The Blood Knot. Surgeon's Knot. One more time through that. So, just basically make your Overhand Knot. Then go back through it one more time, ta da.
