How to Polish a Trumpet

Hi, this is Bill Parker on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we'll be talking about how to polish your trumpet. Polishing your trumpet is simple; it already has a lacquered finish, so all you have to do is take a soft, lint free cloth, and wipe off the excess fingerprints, oil and grease. Never use any kind of a polish on your trumpet, it will destroy the lacquer finish. Now, we?re ready to test the trumpet. If the sound won't come out properly, check the valves, make sure they are in the right casing and that they are facing the right directions. Now, we're ready to play the trumpet. Happy playing.
