Hi, this is Bill Parker on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we would be talking about all the tools we need to thoroughly clean your trumpet. The snake is used for cleaning the tubbing on the trumpet. The mouth piece brush is for cleaning the mouth piece. The valve brush is for cleaning the valve casings. The slide grease is for lubricating the slides. Valve oil is for lubricating the piston. We would be using a tub of warm soapy water for soaking the parts and a tube of clean water for rinsing the instruments. It is very important that you get all the soap off the instrument when you are done. Bath towels are very handy for laing out and putting a instrument on when you are using a hard surface. At the end a soft lent free cloth would help you wipe down the instrument.
