Warnings of the Gainer

Now before doing the gainer there's a few precautionary items that you need to take care of. Obviously you need to make sure you're in good general health. Don't do this with objects lying around. Make sure you're in an area with enough space. Also make sure that your body is in good physical health. That you're not going to hurt your back, hurt your neck. There's definitely a few things that you can do to prevent injury. One is to make sure you're in the right physical condition, in health, good stamina, endurance, being working out a lot, as far as stretching and just working out the muscles so that they're not out of shape. Now basically, some things that you can do are definitely for this particular move is to warm up your neck area by giving it a few stretches like so and also the back. Arch your back a few times, move it from side to side. This can be very important for this gainer move in particular because as you kick up and arch your back, you can have the potential risk to whip yourself back and cause a sharp pain to either your neck or back. So definitely these are some things that you need to take into account when trying this move. Also a few other things is, you want your body to be loose and warm. You want to have jogged or have been working out. You don't want to go into this cold, because then maybe you'll pull a muscle. Because this move requires height, fast twitch, and explosiveness. Those are always things that can cause yourself to pull a muscle if you're not properly warmed up. And always take into account general precautions such as if you're doing this over a pool, or you're doing this into a or on a trampoline or whatnot. You definitely want to be careful of your surroundings, and you want to make sure that you're not rotating backwards and landing on a hard surface. And always make sure you're doing this with proper safety equipment if it's your first time, such as pads or at least on a soft carpet or springboard, as opposed to concrete or grass where some areas where you may slip. So please definitely be cautious when you're doing high difficult movements such as a gainer.
