Now that we've gone piece by piece putting in putting our drum set together, this is the overall acoustically mounted drum set. We've positioned our bass drum and our hi-hat to have the proper angle with our legs. And we've positioned our drum throne at the right distance from the snare drum and the pedals, so that we're not going to experience any pain while playing. We've placed the snare drum at the appropriate height to not be bending over to play it, but also not to have it too high. Our cymbals including our ride cymbal have been placed strategically where they're going to be accessible to us. Because of course how we play it is going to effect whether it's acoustically mounted properly or not. What we've also used, different methods of mounting that aren't going to stifle the ring at all. As you can see it will ring for a really long time if I don't use my hand to stop it. Out toms have been mounted in such a way that they're both comfortable for us, me as an open handed drummer, I like to have my small tom kind of to the left of my snare drum almost. And we also have mounted one drum on the bass drum, and one tom over here on a cymbal stand. Then I went ahead and added my cowbell right down here next to my hi-hat. And I've also put a stick bag over here, which again is not going to affect the sound of either of these because these are kind of separate mounting instruments on top of the cymbal stand. So important to keep in mind that just as important as what hardware you use, you want to acoustically mount a drum set. You also want to keep in mind that if you can't really get to it, if it's not comfortable, it's probably not going to sound as great either. And then all the effort you put into mounting it right won't make a difference. So comfort, accessibility and also mounting hardware all important when we're talking about acoustically mounting a drum set.
