Kicking Tips For a Tornado Kick

Ok so now that we've learned how to jump up properly, we're going to go straight into the kick. Now just from a standstill, I'm going to show you that what you need to do proper inside crescent kick. As some people call this a jump inside crescent kick, it's basically an addition to this crescent kick. The crescent kick goes in what you'd imagine as a crescent shape like so. I'll also show you from a slightly different angle. Or from here. Now it comes in this arch and it comes down. Two things you need to keep in mind is that, you need to use force, you need to use those fast twitch muscles for it to come up in another set, another set of explosiveness for it to come down. So it doesn't just go up and come down slowly, it goes up fast and down fast, like so. So we do this fast while we're in the air. We're able to get this leg down and landing on the same foot that it kicks up on. So let's take a look. Now from the jump, when I stated we're here in the air, or from this angle, when we are here in the air, we're going, we're jumping, so as it elevates the second our body starts to rise up you want to use those fast twitch muscles to do that kick. That fast up and fast down. And you want to keep your body straight the whole time and your body will rotate because as you use this momentum and your leg comes up it's going to start to bring you around. You don't need to actively try to torque your body. As you go this way and do the inside kick, it's going to bring your body around. So let's take a look from a standing. Again. So let's do that from this angle right here. We jump up and we kick. Now you can see that basically once you go upwards you need to use explosive muscles to bring it up and down and you'll be able to do the 540 tornado kick.
