Modeling Clay Texturing Tools
Alright, so most of these tools you can create texture with and it just depends on what you're trying to do. Basically this small metal tool here, I can just use the corner and just scrape out, consistently, lines around the edges. I can something like that. If I want to come in with the needle and draw something, like in my sketch I have the little circles, we pull those out. Just make indentions and that'll give you the little bit of relief there. If I want, I can use this wood tool, and I can draw a line around it. So, the texture tools help you with your actual design on the bowl. And I'm going to smooth all this back out, I just wanted to show you what you can do with some of these tools. You can actually take this loop tool and you can scrape off excess. I'm going to smooth that back out. And you can see the light, very light, texture there. And when I smooth it over, it's too much, I can just go back in and just put texture all the way around the bowl. And that's work on texture tools.
