How to Avoid Phytic Acid

Ok, we're back! Little more information. We're going to talk about Phytic Acid, which is actually in all grains and seeds and nuts and beans , if you believe it or not. Basically, we're going to learn a little bit about Phytic Acid and what that has to do with anything. Reason being why we're going to talk about it, is the fact that it's actually an anti-nutrient. And, it's in raw nuts, raw seeds, raw beans and grains. What it does, is actually binds to your calcium and your zinc. So, if you eat a lot of nuts, beans, grains, whole grains, those types of things. You may want to watch out for it, because you could develop other problems. So, if you're susceptible to osteoporosis or any fatigue or chronic fatigue. You want to either cut back on the amount of foods that you eat in those types of categories. Or, you can simply just take your raw nuts and add a little bit of water to this. Add a little bit of salt and you let it soak overnight. That will actually release the anti-nutrient and then it's all nice and healthy. You can actually eat them like that after they are soaked the next day. Or, you can go ahead and dehydrate them. But, you know what's even easier? Is that fact that you can actually buy them already sprouted. And, that's what it's going to already release. The Phytic Acid has already been released. So, you can go ahead and eat them like this. And, they're even more nutritious that way because, these are sprouted. And, obviously soaking them or also you can go ahead and ferment them as in sourdough. And, that releases the Phytic Acid. Another thing that's good is just plain roasting them which is even easier. And, you can actually buy that at the store too. And, that will actually take away the Phytic Acid and you can eat that. And, be healthy for you. Good luck.
