What is a Butterfly Twist?

Hi, so today we're going to be talking about and learning how to do a butterfly twist. Now, basically what a butterfly twist movement is, is a small run and step into a jump where your legs come up, like this, and then you spin 360 degrees basically parallel to the ground. There's different variation which we will be going over today and also we will show you a step by step break down from the preparation, the run and dipping and various techniques of what to do what not to do. Now, this can be rather advanced movement, so, a lot of people must have to have physical condition of stamina and endurance to be able to do this. So, you know, when I started out I didn't jump into it, I obviously did various other steps before hand but today we're going learn how to do it for those of you who are ready to do it. Now, let me just give you a brief demonstration of one, really quickly so you have an idea of what the movement is and how I'm to going to demonstrate it. So, I'm going to step over here and and just take two steps, like so, which is basically the butter fly twist and as you could see my feet were up in the air and I did spun one time which is 360 degrees and later on we?ll be talking about other variations how you could do one that is 720, 540 and so on. So, coming up next, we will show you a few more things and break down the butter fly twist movement.
