Hi, I'm Jeanette White on behalf of Expert Village and Piper's Quilts and Comforts located in Sugarhouse. Today we're going to be doing a simple bind off and I'm doing this on the knit side. You can also do it on the pearl side depending on where you end up in your pattern and you need to bind off. So to begin with, I will be knitting my first stitch and then my second stitch. On my right hand needle, I know have two stitches. With my left hand needle, I will grab the first one. Pull it over the top and now I have one. Knit one more stitch from your left hand needle. Take the second stitch and pull it over the first one. Knit one more stitch and pull the first stitch over the second one. This is going to give you a very pretty cast off. You can see this braided edge and it makes for a really nice look. This is simple to do and anyone can do it, as long as you just remember that you're just going to do a rhythm of two, one on your right hand needle. So we have one here, I'm going to knit one more and pull the first one over the second one. And that's how you do a simple bind off.
