Healthy Fats for a Child's Diet

O.k., so your child probably has food allergies. A lot of children have food sensitivities, I should say. There's a big controversy with amongst us nutritionist about the whole food allergy thing, but it is sensitivities and a lot of them do have sensitivities to certain foods. So basically, what you want to do, is you want to make sure that there isn't any rapid onset of severe food sensitivities or food allergies, I should say. Some of those can be quite severe and may even require hospitalization, not to scare you, but you obviously will know that if you have any food allergies, more than likely your child's going to have some food allergies. But some great things that you need to know is that if you help with their digestion and you help with their immune system, and some things can actually help with their immune system. One of the big things is coconut oil, believe it or not. It's a great product and you can actually give it to your child, like a teaspoon a day even, in addition to their nutritious meals that you're feeding them. This will actually help with their immune system. It strengthens it and makes sure that their immune system just doesn't fly off the handle over every little food that you give them, if that's the type of thing that they have going on with their system and their digestion of foods. So if you add this to their foods, with their foods, I should say, a teaspoon a day with each meal, you're good. And actually your child will be so much more healthy. It's great for their skin. It's good for other things besides that. It actually facilitates weight loss, so if you do have a child that's a little bit more overweight, this will actually help facilitate their weight loss and they will have nutrients because it will be able to absorb their foods much better because a lot of nutrients, as you know, are fat soluble and this is a good healthy fat to add.
