Applying Baby Bib Snaps

Hi. Welcome to Expert Village. I'm Gretchen Soares with Butterfly Boutique. We're going to use a snap tool to apply our snaps. You take the pearl piece, center it over the dot we made and push it through the fabric. This takes a little forcefulness and so you get your prongs all the way through. You're going to take the disc and if you look very closely at your discs, you're going to see that there's little, teeny, tiny holes in here and the sides that the holes are indented up in goes down onto the prongs. You're going to take your snap tool, put the pearl on the plastic side and the prongs on the other side making sure it stayed lined up and apply firm pressure, and check. And that worked great. We're going to do the other side now. We're going to apply our pearl over our dot, push through so that the prongs come through. Figure out which side of this we need. The side that the little dots go up on. Center it over, inside into the tool and apply firm pressure. And that went on great. We're now going to do our strap sides. As many times as I've made these, I always have to lay it out and make sure that I'm doing this right. We're going to put the prongs on the back side, centering it over the dot and pushing through. We're going to take the fastener side, center it over the prongs. Now, on our tool you're going to see that there's a little hole. The fastener side sets right into that and the disc sits on the back and you apply pressure. Great. And we now have a bib.
