Hi, I'm Austin McBride here on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you how to use different timings and how to use syncopation in those different timings. When we're changing our timings our syncopation is going to change. And so here is an example of where some interesting timing will also cause some interesting syncopation. This riff that I wrote is in five four timing and because of it's five four timing, it's also going to have really interesting feel as when all the notes hit together at the exact same time which is, by definition, what syncopation is. So we'll start out. Here we are. So there's an example of some altered syncopation in an unusual time signature. We have additional timing signature syncopation changes that will happen for example when we're playing in six eighths. So there's an example of how our syncopation will happen here on the triplets and that's because it's in six eighths time signature.
