Jazz Examples in Popular Music

How to use jazz styling in popular music. I will show you some examples of some popular artists that have commonly used jazz principles and jazz styling in there own stuff, and how you can do that yourself. Let's take "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. The beginning of it is straight forward pop music, there is no jazz to it what so ever. Right there it's walking up the scale and falling into a seventh note, which is basically straight from jazz music and following down. So the point is when you are writing your own pop music to have a feel of jazz or have flare and to improvise its really good to incorporate seventh notes, rub notes to give it that feel that made The Beatles go great.
