Picking Colors for a Clay Bracelet

Hi. I'm Melina and I'm with Expert Village and I'm going to show you how to make a beautiful transfer polymer bracelet. The first thing that we're going to do is we're going to select a very light mix of colors to make our bracelet. Basically what we're going to do is we're going to make five different square shaped beads and we're going to put designs that have been printed on transfer paper and cut out. And we're going to put them on the beads and we're going to bake them in the oven. And when we take them out of the oven these designs will be on the beads. So, in order for the designs to show through you have to use a very light colored mix of clay. So I'm using a little bit of peach, a little bit of clear and a little bit of white. And I'm going to mix it all together and create a nice blend. And if you do want to have some sort of color in your design you don't have to keep it strictly to light colors. If you want you can take a little tiny dab of green and maybe do a green swirl. A little bit of green and wrap it around but not too much. You have to keep it very light. If not, the transfer will not show through.
