Hi, my name is Caleb Labarda. I'm here with Expert Village and today I'm going to be going over beginning Bo Staff. O.k. next we're going to be going over how you do around the leg, alright. So round leg's going to go to look like this, you go around the head, you go up, around and then right through the leg and back to starting position, alright. So, now how we go about going around the leg, first when you go, you want to be able to hold your balance and you put your body flat. O.k, now as you do it, you're going to be coming around with your left hand, that's going to be going, that's going to swing all the way around your leg, come through here and then come back up, bam, all the way to here or into a strike, o.k. So, one more time, you can do your strike, one, two, three, four, come across, one, two, three, four, go around the head. Which this one looks really nice or a palm spin, go flat, o.k, you're going to hit your leg, go around your leg, there you go all the way here. So, looking fast, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, above the head, around the leg, Hi-ya, all the way to here. Chuk Kunya. Alright, so that's going to be how to go around your leg. And that one's going to take some practice also, but it's a really cool move and it looks neat, especially if you get it really fast above the head, around the leg. O.k, one thing you also want to make sure is, when you hold it, you don't want to hold it too low cause if do that, it's going to fall short and you're not going to get it, o.k. You want to hold it about over here, so when you swing it, it's got plenty of length on the Bo to get all the way around your leg balanced. O.k, if it's off balance you might lose it or it'll get hung up on your leg.
