Hi, my name's Curtis Enlow and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to plan, setup and equip a work area for radio controlled models. I'm going to talk about some basic supplies that you're going to want to have in your work area. Paper towels of course are always handy for spills, drips, excess glue, anything like that. Along the same lines on a smaller scale, cotton swabs are really good for removing excess lubricants, glue, locktite, epoxies, anything like that. These are very handy. You're going to want a variety of sandpapers. Varying grit, mostly fine to very fine. You're rarely going to remove a lot of material in RC modeling, but you're going to need some on occasion so its good to have a couple different grades handy. Another thing that works great and I always need to keep around is a little bit of Scotch Brite. This isn't so much a sanding material as it is a polishing material. It puts a nice finish on anything that you've had to sand or anything you've had to grind on. So you really want to get some of this and keep it around. Some other things you're going to want to have are maybe a couple of different types of epoxies. These are two part glues that you mix together in equal quantities and they take varying amounts of time to bond. They are quick cure epoxies, medium cure and long cure and there are different benefits to either one to the different types, but you're going to want to have a couple on hand. They're great for repairs when you do crash or break something.
