Studio Tips for a One Woman Show

Hi, welcome back to Expert Village. My name is Kat Litrenta and I'm a professional entertainer and in this segment, we're talking about getting the production end in a studio done for your show. It's a Latin show and we're having a lot of fun with a little bit of the accent. Now, you can cut production costs if you're prepared before you go into the studio. Make sure that you know what selections you want in order and if you need them put up a little bit or you might need the pitch a little bit lower. Now a good production technician can make the song faster, can make it slower, take the hiss out. Make sure you know what you want before you go into that studio. And how do you find a studio? Ask your friends. Do you have other people that you know that are entertainers? Ask them where they go to have their CDs produced. And listen to their CDs and see if they're any good. That's what I did. And don't pay too much. A professional studio is going to want upwards of $200.00. Find someone who has a home studio with a computer, that's really good at it and they'll only charge you forty-five to fifty. That's what I did.
