How Much Should You Pay for a Bicycle?

Hi, I'm Mark. I'm here with Expert Village at the Competitive Edge Cyclery in Upland to explain how to buy a quality bike from a bike shop. Average prices on bikes will vary depending on style. A BMX bike or a kid's bike will range anywhere from about a hundred and fifty dollars on up from a bike store. Keep in mind that you're going to have a much more durable bike and a bike that will last a lot longer and more enjoyable for the kids. If we go into more of your comfort/hybrid style bikes, the range - on average - is anywhere from three hundred dollars on up. Again, check with your bike store. But most bikes that the carry will have a lifetime warranty on the frames. Mountain bikes will also vary in price. Same price points: three hundred dollars on up.
