Helmet Safety for Bicycle Riding

Hi, I'm Mark. I'm here with Expert Village at The Competitive Edge Cyclery in Upland to explain how to buy a quality bike from a bike shop. Here's an example of a must have item with biking, most importantly, a helmet. That should be your first purchase any time you do buy a bike. Helmets will come in various colors and models and different sizes. Generally you're going to be getting a helmet that has lots of air vents and it's going to stay nice and cool and keep your head nice and cool. Must have! Generally when people fall, they're not moving. They might be going one or two miles an hour and they might tip over, and they hit their head. If they don't have a helmet, they're off to the emergency room. Helmets are designed for a one time crash and they will break and they're designed to break. Very important to have! A lot cheaper than going to the doctors.
