How to Make Your Own Envelope for a Greeting Card
I am Heather McCanna on behalf of expertvillage.com and today I will be sharing with you some basic card making tips. In this segment I'm going to be finishing the envelop that I had already cut out. The first step to finishing the envelop is to fold it in half, matching the end of the paper to the line right below the extra triangle flap. We would also fold the triangle down over the envelop to make sure we have a place to seal our card shut. Once you have done this you are going to unfold it and using a glue stick sparingly run a line of glue around the length of both sides of the card in order to keep it shut. Make sure we got enough glue on there. We do not want to go to far into the card into the envelop so we have enough room to slide the card in. this point you are going to fold your envelop up to seal the sides. Once this is completely dry you can slide your card into the top and to seal it put another dot of glue along the top of the corner of the triangle and fold it over. Now you got a nice envelop to close your home made card that you just completed.
