Sideway Body Rolls in Hip Hop Dancing

Hi I'm Bulletyme, dance choreographer out here in L.A., here on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip you are going to learn how to do a body roll sideways. It's basically a series of isolations happening at different times to create different moments and create an illusion. You want to start once again with your knees bent, take your hip, push it to the side, roll up that side of your body, notice how my head is already starting to stay on the right side. Let's try that again. Just the hip, push, head stays there, shoulders go over, head follows, head, shoulders, sit, hip, shoulder, head. Head, shoulder, sit, hip, shoulder, head, head, shoulder, hip and you can just do that on the other side and there you have it. I'll demonstrate for you facing the mirror. You take it, knees bent, hip, shoulder, head, head, shoulder, hip, hip, shoulder, head, head, shoulder, hip. Make it be a little bouncy feel to it. That's where the illusion comes from doing it faster with a little bit of attitude or timing added to it and there you have it, isolating your body up the side.
