Tai Chi Crane Walking Exercise

A couple of moving exercises that will allow you to walk all in the same direction but still working on your Tai Chi are sometimes depicted in animal movements like the crane, snake, tiger or even the mythical dragon. I'm going to show you how to do Crane Walking. You will imagine that you are the crane. Don't just depict the movements and bring your arms up and your hand up and then set it down in blocking fashion. Even if it's slow, try to imagine. Breathe. Bring your hands in. Curl. Just like you had the wings of a crane. Bring it in. Again. Concentrate on where you are shifting your weight, whether it's going to be on the right leg or am I going to go on the left leg. Don't just start to bring your foot up and make your body do it out on its own. You control everything that happens here. Breathe in. Now my lungs are full of air and I can start to breathe out. Shift. Breathe in. Slowly breathing it out. Again.
