Natural Light Photography

Now I told you about electric lights, and you can have a lot of control over those but a lot of studios operate only using natural light or the light from the sun. Now this studio here in my garage utilizes it in a couple of different ways, I've got a skylight which we are using right now to light the studio and it creates a nice, soft subtle light. I also can open my garage door to get more of a directional side light or I can open the huge garage door and really flood the area with light and there is lots of ways that you can control this natural light, with reflectors or even flagging it out with a black card to kind of cut the light off from the images you want so you don't need to have these studio strobe or "hot lights" to have a studio portrait setup but you know it is something to look into depending on the kind of pictures that you want to take.
