How to Maintain Electric Hand Drills

Hi. I'm Danny from Tampa Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to use and maintain an electric hand drill. Now I'm going to talk about maintenance on the drill. After you're done using them, you'll want to wipe them off if they're dirty. You'll want to wrap up the cord using a little twisty tie or something. On the electric (portable) ones you want to make sure you have at least two batteries and keep them charged by having one on the charger while you're using the other one. On the air drills, every time you use it, I suggest you put two or three drops of air-tool oil in it. You'll want to keep it lubed up because a lot of times, the lines will have water in them and it'll throw out the gears and it'll start to rust. So daily, or whenever you use it, put in two or three drops and they should last a while as long as you keep up on the maintenance and keep them clean.
