Hi, I'm Danny from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to use and maintain a electric hand drill. Now I'm going to talk to you about torque selection. Most of these corded drills and numeric drills they don't have torque selection. Most all battery operated ones don't have a torque selection. As you can see on here it has the numbers listed as 1,2,3,4,5, all the way to drill. If you have it on the drill setting there is, it is endless it does not stop. This is basically for safety reasons so if you are drilling into something that it is a very skinny screw or something and you don't want to drill in too far. You don't want to break the bolt it would do it like that so that is the torque setting. The higher the number the strong it is, it is harder to stop. On the drill that is basically turning it off and it just all the way out full power. It is just as easy as turning these controls here and that is how you change the settings on the torque selector.
