Now we're going to go about Comping chords on the more advanced Blues. If you remember before, we have our, and I'm taking it up an octave, we have our C7 chord, our F7 chord, and our G7 chord. But now we have these other chords in here. We have the E minor 7, the A7, the D minor 7, all these minor chords and the other respective dominant chords. What I'm going to do is show you, we're going to take the same exercise which is playing quarter notes of the chords for each bar, but now we have to watch out for these areas right here. I'm going to show you how to go about comping chords, as a practice, using quarter notes for the more advanced Blues. One, two, three, four. (audio demo) What I did first is I showed you how to do the quarter notes, and then I also showed you, for the second chorus, how we change it up to give it a more musical approach. And, that's how we would go about comping chords on the twelve bar Blues.
