Now we're going to start thinking about soloing over the twelve bar blues using the scale mixolydian which we learned from before. So what we know is that our mixolydian scale on C goes like this. What we want to do is use that same scale for C on the four bars then F we're going to use the same exact scale just starting on F, then C, then G, then C again. What you want to do when you're soloing is first start off practicing by maybe doing all eighth notes or even sixteenth notes or whole notes, just varying up the rhythms so that you get, so that you develop an ear for what it sounds like to break up the rhythm. So that we're not, we're not walking bass doing quarter notes this time. We're actually freeing ourselves up and somewhat expressing ourselves musically. So what I'm going to show you now is I'm going to give you an example of how you could solo using the mixolydian scale over the twelve bar blues. And watch how my fingers change when the chords change from C, to F and the to G and then back to C. So here's an example. So that's how you would go about or those are examples of how you would take using the mixlydian scale and soloing over the twelve bar blues.
