Lamps for Wireless Home Lighting

Michael Raines, Expert Village. Let me tell you what I meant by different applications. Here we are in my loft. Pretty cool, huh? You can even turn them off. Pretty cool, but we'll leave them on. Now, pretty cool stuff, but you've got to keep in mind, X-10 systems only control incandescent bulbs. What's an incandescent bulb? It's one of these puppies. A regular bulb, incandescent, that's what they're called. It will not control a fluorescent, don't try it, it won't work, it will just turn them on and off. The X-10 system won't turn back on, you'll think there's something wrong, there's not. It doesn't work with fluorescents, only incandescents or quartz bulbs, or the halogen bulbs, or even LED's, but that's another story. So, moving on, let me show you my fireplace.
