Materials to Build a CD Rack

I'm Tony Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to build a cd rack. In my case a media rack. Let's go! Okay now I want to talk a little bit about the materials that I'm going to be using for this project. My media storage shelving is going to be made out of recycle materials. My recycle of recycle of course is because these are extra materials that I have lying around the house. This board was actually from a panel from a bed that I actually use to have. So I took those off, it is still stained and polish, this would match some of my furniture in my house. So with this I would be using this on the sides to actually hold the media up on the shelves. Now as far as the shelves go, before I get to the shelves let me get these out of my hand. So we just have some standard L brackets. These brackets would actually hold the wood to the wall that would be our extra support. Then we have these little plastic, little brackets that we re going to be using to actually hold the shelf to the wall. I have 2 different ones I have this one that I have here and then I have some J actually hooks that you use on your normal white wire thing that you have in your closets. What I have for shelving is these are actually cd/dvd/vhs shelves that can be found at any retail store. I had a retail store go out of business and just started buying a lot of these things and figure I would build this one day so that is what I did. So I have actually cut pieces and make my shelves with this. So this is a great way to save you some money, don't go out to any store and buy yourself an expensive, fancy shelf. If you can take a little time and make you a shelf and get a little satisfaction out of it but these are the materials needed.
