Weather in Camping

Hi, I'm Albert Hedgepeth with Expert Village and today we are going to talk a little bit about how weather affects a camping trip. There are a lot of resources available to people who are planning a camping trip, not only on the internet but on television. Understanding what weather systems are actually moving in and understanding weather conditions currently is very important to the end success of any camping trip. A family that's cold is miserable, a family that's wet is miserable, and most individuals that are extremely hot are also pretty miserable too. Using the resources that are out there, making sure that you understand the weather and the climate and the situation that you're in, and how the weather can develop in those areas is very important. If you're on Everest you're going to have a team who is watching the weather and giving you an update as to when weather conditions are moving in that are unfavorable to your experience. While you're camping with your family it may be more up to you to go and use the local weather channel, to use the internet, and other resources that you have at your hands; the park service system, to go ahead and pull the information that you need about what the weather is doing. As long as you understand the weather conditions and you prepare appropriately, each camping experience should be a breeze.
