How to Water an Orchid & Tips for Caring for an Orchid Plant
This bark has been pre-moistened and I did that by just letting it sit in water overnight because if you use bark that is not pre-moistened, the water just runs off of it. So this has been pre-moistened and some people would tell you that you shouldn’t water the plant right away. You should let it set one or two weeks and become accumulated to the mix that it is in and let the roots reach for the moisture that is in the new bark. Other people say you shouldn’t water it at all and let the plant heal from the cuts or might be rips in the roots from removing it from the pot. So there is two different ways to look at that.
