How to Cut Out Pockets in Sewing

Hi I?m Shelly Cordsen with Expert Village. We are continuing our Levi organizer. We?ve got our leg traced on cardboard and we need to stop here and you need to come in a little bit thinner then what you've drawn so that we can fit it down into the leg. Ok, and I have one here already cut and what this is going to do is just slide in to your pant leg ,we've got to give it some durability so we can hang it. So now we're nice and taught on there. Now what you can do is this project I?m doing with you is all glue .If you would rather sew on your accessories all you have to do is split your leg up the back, open it up, do all your sewing and then you'll sew it back together and then put your cardboard back in. So you can do this as a sewing project if you'd like. Doing it with my grand children we just did all glue. So right away we are going to glue the bottom shut. So we're just going to open the leg here put our glue in and this is really good glue but you've got to let I set a little bit. We?re just going to mash that down and let it take. And then the next step we are just going to go in to accessorizing and get our pockets ready.
