Hi I'm Shelly with Expert Village, today I am focusing on projects you can do with your children or grandchildren very simple projects. The first one we are going to do is a pocket organizer made out of old jeans, so its a recycle project and I have three here that I made with my grandchildren while we were on Christmas vacation. You can hang it on the wall and you can put scissors, markers, notebooks, whatever they want to and hang it on the wall. Supplies, are two pairs of old jeans, one for the legs and one for the pockets, scrap cardboard, permanent fabric glue (make sure it is permanent and not what they call washable) accessories however you want to decorate it. You can use iron ons, appliques, buttons, lace, and also grommets. When you buy grommets you can also buy the tool, you do not need players but you will need a hammer with that. So when you get all your supplies together we will get busy making an organizer.
This is a great project. I have been looking for fun, useful, simple projects to keep my crafty kids busy this summer. Thanks so much!
