The C Major Scale on Bass Fiddle

On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Steve Anthony here in New York City, today we're going to talk a little bit about Country Bass Fiddle techniques for beginners. So let's break down the notes in the C practice scale. C, E, G, A, B flat, A, G, E, C. (audio demo) If you look at it from the side you can see the finger position markers again. It's the same positioning as the G scale, just moved over one string. (audio demo) We're going to move on to the D scale which is a completely different positioning. We'll talk about that in just a minute.
