Front Shocks for Motorcycle Stoppie

Hi, my name is T.J., I'm here with Expert Village, and we're here today to talk about how to do stoppies. All right, another step in stoppies that's pretty crucial is front shock compression. A good way to test this -- I don't have one right now -- would be a -- you could put a zip tie around the top of this. Just tighten it down, and then go ahead and practice a little stoppie and see how far it goes down. If it bottoms out at the very bottom, you're going to need to go to a shop and have them tighten up your front shocks so that you don't bottom out, because that's really bad. You'll blow your front fork seals pretty fast. Okay, so here's a demonstration on what happens with your front shocks when you go about doing a stoppie. You're going to pull the front brake, bounce the back end, front shocks are going to compress, and then the back end's going to come up, and you're going to carry it out as long as you can.
