Making Body for Balloon Duck

Hi, I'm Dan McLellan and I'm with Expert Village. Today we're going to be talking about how to make a complex balloon duck. We're going to start by making the body of the duck out of a yellow balloon. Let's start by blowing up the balloon. Now once again, I'm not going to inflate it all the way because I need to have space to be able to make twists so I'm going to take the air that?s in the balloon and move it down towards the empty part of the balloon. I'll tie the knot in the balloon and tie it off, and we're ready to begin. I'm going to start by making what would be the head of the duck by taking approximately and inch and a half bubble, twist it and then a half-inch bubble and twist it and then another inch and a half bubble and twist it. I'm going to take the two inch and a half bubbles and connect them. I'm then going to ear tie the half-inch bubble. And now I'm going to create what would probably the arms of the duck or its wings, by doing little about a three inch bubble, twist and another three inch bubble and twist. I'm now going to create the body of the duck by creating I'd say another oh inch and a half to two inch bubble and then fold it down and that will allow me to go that's about the same length there another inch and a half to two inch bubble and that will just fold in and then another inch and a half, two-inch bubble. All I need to do is fold it right up there and I can just push it through the first two bubbles and that's going to create the body. And then if I take a little tiny maybe eighth inch bubble at the end here, this will allow me to fold the remaining part around and connect it and that will eventually become the tail of the duck. So right now, this is just the body, the base that we're going to work on and we're going to add on its eye's and its stomach with a white balloon next.
